They were working when I first posted them but I guess they were a little too big.

The quality was really good. It did need just a tiny bit extra block-sanding to get it right, but my body shop said that the fit was OEM. I can't begin to tell you guys/gals just how many looks I'm getting now!

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! Can't wait! I think i'll be going with that hood. Did the body shop have to blend the fenders or was it a perfect match?

It's funny......because I seem to remember a thread not so long ago where everyone was slamming this hood as overdone and ugly. But looking at it from the pics on the other thread (it was silver on a silver mustang)....I'd say this hood demands the use of stripes in order to look right. Put it on a solid colored stang at your own risk. Just an observation...

Here's the stang from the other thread:

I totally agree with that ^^. This hood just solid in body color is big and blantly ugly. Yet, the stripes add an element to it that makes the hood flow with the rest of the car and look really mean.

And to the other post above, the paint matched perfectly - no blending at all.

Is the air outlet underneath the hood above the stock airbox? I would like to use this hood with a CAI.
