Default Tuner for Exhaust?

Hey guys, my 06 gt should be in my driveway by next thursday so i went ahead and ordered a bassani x pipe with the mufflers as well. I havent been able to find anything on the forum about this via the search option so i decided to post. Ive heard people tell me about how sensitive these things are to mods although requiring a tuner for a new exhaust didnt make sence to me seeing as how im not adding anymore air to the engine. So if you could settle this for me once and for all, if adding the exhaust listed above, will i be safe running a stock tune with 87 octane untill more cash arrives 4 my C&L + tuner. Also while im on it, for a manual gt is it now down to preferance or is there a better tuner for a manual?

I have had this same question too, I saw several post about people getting just an axel back and not needing to adjust their tune but others that got a new mid pipe were advised to get a retune to take full advantage of the new upgrade but didn't say that by not retuning they are hurting anything.

not tune needed for any type of cat back exhaust, if you add headers or high flo cats then you need a retune, so just wait til the c&l and sct2 comes in!

You dont need a tune if your modifications are after your cats.
