Hey Guys,

Just picked up my Borla catbacks for $450. Got a great deal didn't I. Got a C&L and Diablo Tuner for the same price last week.

Anyways, can't wait to put them on!! Anyone know how easy it is? I have limited car knowledge, but i'm pretty good with tools. Should I do it my self or just get a shop to install them? Anyone know an estimate on shop price and time?

3.73 Gears and Nitrous coming up soon. I'll put up a sound clip as soon as I get the Borla installed.

I paid that much for the s axle backs. O well at least you got a good deal.

I would put them on yourself. Very easy. I did mine myself and I'm no mechanic by any means.

Do I need to buy a floor jack/jack stands to do it or do you think I could do it without lifting the car?

I would get it off the ground. I'm a big guy and I don't even think I would fit under my car lol.

Haha, damm, I'm a big guy too. Didn't wanna spend $30 on a floor jack and stands, although i'm sure i'll use them again (during the nitrous install).

Put them on yourself. Back the car up on ramps and it will be a piece of cake. Hardest part is the bolt for the drivers side exhaust hanger.

Its actually cheaper to buy a 2 jack stands and a floor jack then to buy ramps.

Yea, ya got me on that one. I just sort of assumed. Oopsies
