Default Parts needed for gear replacement

A bit confussed on what parts I all need to purchase for the 4:10 rear end change. Thought that someone said the Ford Racing gears come with the pinion bearing and motives and others don't. Also, do you need a install kit, some say yes, some say no. I am going to go with the Ford gears but could anyone give me a list of materials needed to complete the install. Found a guy in my town that will install them for $300 bucks but I want too make sure I have everything he needs in advance. I could let him get everything through a ford dealership but that would be very costly! Even the ford dealerships don't know exactly what is needed as none of them put any 4:10's in. They said it may even need a new carrier? Called companies off the internet that sell this stuff and their no help either. Any suggestions on a place to buy these items would be greatly appreciated! what is a good price for everything?

Get the gears from ford Racing, and get the bearing and crush collar (5-10 bucks each). That is all you need, except for a seal. I just had mine done today. It is great!

$300 for installation is a pretty steep, if you are providing all of the parts including lube it shouldn't be more than $200 for installation.

Didn't check with ford racing yet. Was looking at vendors listed in here and seems Jegs was the cheapest at 184.99 for the ford gears. Brenspeed only sells the motive high performance gears and their comments claim they are quieter than the ford gears, and are much cheaper! Please keep the comments comming as I may print these out and give them to the mechanic to show what all you guys are paying for this install. Please be honest or it may not mean anything to him!

The Ford gear set comes with the ring and pinion, shims, crush sleeve and nut.
I got the follwing to avoid a trip to the dealer in the middle of the job.

1 F3TZ-4630-A Cone (pinion bearing) 30.29
1 F3TZ-4628-A Cup (pinion bearing cup) 17.10
1 B7A-4662-A Spacer pinion (extra crush sleeve just in case) 11.04
1 F89Z-4676-AA Seal (Again, just in case) 22.23
2 XY-75W140-QL Synthetic gear lube 49.12
2 XL-3 Friction modifier additive 13.28

1 Tube black RTV form a gasket 8.00

Can you get some of this stuff cheaper? I geuss, I just believe in using factory stuff when I want it perfect................
