My sister has a 2005 v6 red mustang and she total'd it, and i have a silver one, my parents wants to buy me a 2006 mustang and i would give my silver one to my sister. I've already done a lot to it like air intake, exhaust and a kickin sound system.

No two cars are same wheter they are the same. Line up two stock mustangs and one will be faster. My opinion.

You are always going to have productions differences between cars but for the most part they are going to equal.

Yes, but your speaking of slight differences over time in the production line and factory freaks. Not actual differences between the '05 and '06 Mustangs simply based on model year.

yea; there the same..maybe one is 0.002 sec faster or something...maybe you should give your sis ur v6 and get a gt. that has 90 more hp, that is faster.

i've been told that the exhaust on the 06 gt has less bends in it than the 05 gt, ie, better performance.

the auto gt has a slightly different/more restrictive muffler than the manual gt, ie, worse performance.

but seriously, the differences in both cases are so small that they make no measureable power difference. remember, putting in a whole axleback system wont even net you 5hp
