Default Teacher that needs HELP

I know I've asked about best mods before, but I got some extrememly expensive answers. I'm an elementary school teacher, which means I don't make a lot of cash. I need to know some low cost mods that will give me some power. I would really like to add some muscle to my exhaust without waking my neighbors and was wondering if anyone knew of any websites or deals on some good mufflers?

You can pick up FRPP Borla Stingers from Ford for about $375.

I read the post about the Borla's, but is that just the 2 mufflers themselves or mufflers and pipes? I would like to use the stock pipes and just change out the mufflers for cost effectiveness, but don't know if that will give me the deep rumble without waking the neighbors or my wife.

The Ford Racing Mufflers, are just the mufflers, no pipes

are they "wake neighbors loud" or just "aggresive" loud. Also don't want to go deaf from the massive increase of drone.

Loudmouths are wake the neighbors loud according to most on this board. Their are two types of borlas, the borla FRPP S axel backs are like the traditional borla stingers which are louder and poppier. Hope this helps, also flows and MACs seem to not be loud at idle but are louder than stock at WOT.

Get 40 series Flowmasters, $120 for both mufflers and you can have them welded to the stock pipes... Probably around another $80... So for $200 you will have a pretty mean sounding Mustang...

Or go straight pipe out the back. No mufflers. Have an exhaust shop weld on piping for around 100 installed.

I got mine slightly used on Ebay, not enough noise for the guy so he changed them out. Got an x-pipe that way, too. Did the work in my drive with hand tools and blocking the car up (safely) to gain acess..less than 350 for all... that and a C&L intake with the K&N filter and tuner to match. Made a huge difference.
