need help on tires

Have an o5 vert. I bought the Steeda Ultralite rims and need new tires. Steeda said go with 275/40/18's. Which tires should I go with. I'm from MA but only drive my car April - November so I don't need an all season tire but I also don't something so soft that I'll burn them up in a year either. Thanks for the help on the subject.

The BFG TA KDW are good dry/wet tires...not real expensive (cost me just a nudge more than the stock P ZNs).

RE: need help on tires

I just recently purchased the new GoodYear Eagle F-1s and they are awesome. I got them in 255/45/18 and i look through thousands of websites comparing them to the KDW's and 90% of them said the Eagle F-1s are much much better dry and wet. But the KDW's do have a sick tread pattern, but the eagles arent too bad as well. Heres a pic.

The thickest you can run under the fenders are 295s.

However, I can get you a steal of a deal on (the tire's I'm going with) a set of 275/40/Z18 Sumitomo directional tires.

They're a decent tire, but when you factor in the cost (around $600 for the whole set) it's a wow.

If you want a pricier tire, G-Force T/A KDW (Series 2, S1s have horrid tread wear) are great, great tires. Just a tad pricey.

Either way, the 275/40s will look quite nice.
