Has anyone installed these mufflers, and what do you think of them.

Yeah I just installed them yesterday after my flowmasters went bad, I have them on with the Pypes O/R H and I think they sound perfect, much better then the flows ever sounded in my opinion. Nice deep defined sound. Hardly any drone to. Highly recomended here.

Did you get the aluminized or stainless mufflers. Where did you buy them.

What was your opinion of the muffler tips? How much louder than the Flowmasters do you think they are?

Muffler tips r nice, look pretty much exactly like the flowmaster tips, just much shinier because their brand new, and they say Pypes on top. I think it is actually a little quieter at start-up, not sure y, but its good cause I live in an apt. complex, not much quieter but quieter, but idle is much deeper, and u can hear the engine pulses much more clearly, a little louder then the flows. But when u open it up its no comparison, these things freakin scream. Think of flowmasters going under an over pass if u have experienced it, thats what these sound like out in the open.

Thanks for the info. I was almost ready to get rid of my flowmasters, because I was having a rattling issue. One of the exhaust clamps kept coming lose and the muffler was rattling on the cross-over pipe. I solved that with a 1/2 drive ratchet and a little PFT....
