Went to the track yesterday. Only got to go down once, but I got a 13.556 1/4 mile. 100.84 mph. 60 ft was 2.069. I raced an older model Mustang GT and blew him away. He was in my rear view mirror the whole time. He ran a 13.995. After the race was over he asked me if I had a 5 speed. I said no, it's an automatic. Then we were talking mods and we had the same mods. UDP's, cold air intake, performance tune, high flow mufflers. He was really cool about it. Said my cars runs very good. I was hoping for 13.5 and that's what I got. Very happy with that. (for now lol).

Congrats on the first track run! It is going to snowball now. Every time you go to the track you are going to want to go faster!

Try running about 20 psi in those stock tires. It helped me hook alot better at the track. You may have already been doing this but just in case. I have some MT ET streets coming next week. I should be in the 7's next time I go to the drag strip. Just got the nitrous hooked up. I'm one set of tires and a tune away from 7's. In the eigth. That's all they have around here.

Technically it is a 5 speed just in an automatic

I never tried running with 20 psi in the tires. I did have some tire spin. I'll have to give it a try. Thanx

Multiply 1/8 mile times by 1.54 to get a rough estimate of 1/4 mile times. So you would be in the 12.30's.

Our track re-opens this friday, I have to work, but it'll be too crowded anyways.

Wally what rpm are you launching at? Before i got gears, same mods as you, stock tire pressure i would get 13.3 consistently
