I have tinted windows on my Convertible and i have scratches on both sides on the front windows, is this happening to anyone else and does anyone know if my windows will have scratches in them when i take the tint off.

This was a common problem with anybody that had their windows tinted. The seals at the bottom of the windows would scratch the tint. I think the solution was to put felt along the bottom seals of the windows. Somebody who actually had the problem will be able to tell you more.

No scratches yet on my tinted windows, although I have heard of many complaints of this problem.

Thanks. im going to ask the dealership too when i bring it in for service next week and see what they say, i will let you know if you want, incase it happens to yours, because the scratches on my windows are really bad, they go from the top to the bottom of the windows and a couple people told me ford had this problem before with their convertible cars, so i'll see what they say.

I have this problem. When they installed it I even told them about it and they said no it wouldn't scratch, scratch-free tint. Lifetime warranty but I haven't taken it back yet, felt from the hobby store seems to be the solution.
