RE: GT Mods...any guess on RWHP !?!?!?!
were are going to try the Throttle body and see what happens. Guess we will form our own non-biased opinion and just let everyone know what happens. hope we have good luck as it seems every now and then can happen.

You mentioned a Lightbar so i assume you have a convertable like me. I love my CDC Lightbar. I always wanted one on my 00 GT Vert and finally got it on this one. Took like under 2 hours to install and fits like a glove. If you like that look, i say go for it, they rocks.

Billhyco - You really should take a look at MusiccityGT's thread that I posted above. He ran his for 4 months and then it left him stranded. He has an unbiased opinion. This is a completely new style throttle body and the companies making them have no experience with drive by wire systems, I guarantee Ford put more time in theirs than these companies did. The failure rate is very high. We are just trying to save you some money. If you do it, it may be fine for 4 months but I would be willing to bet one day in the next year it will fail just like MusiccityGT's did. The stock 55mm throttle body is plenty for these motors, the twin 55mm openings is the same as having a 77.8mm opening. Most people don't run a 75mm throttle body on 5.0's until they are making over 500rwhp.

sorry ghost, although i still feel the same about some of your claims, i apologize for coming across so hard. btw, im ordering lca brackets this week...but they arent nec unless your car is lowered, and uca's are overkill unless you are pulling sub-1.5 60's. just replacing the bushings will get the job done until then. there are very few streetable 05s into the 10s so far, so claiming it as easy with some bolt ons and nitrous is just a lil overstated is all
