Hi Everyone,
Greetings from Germany! I have an '06 Stang GT, with Mac Long tubes, Mac H-pipe, and mufflers, and now a Mac CAI. I have a Diablo Predator and I need a custom tune for all of this, the pipes as well as the CAI, and I dont know where to start. Someone told me that you can e-mail your stock tune to someone (I dont know who) and then they e-mail the custom tune back. Does this cost money, or is it free since I bought the Diablo? Where do I start!! Thanks for any inputs.

There are three tunes already in your Predator, the "performance tune" which is for 93 octane and an 89 and 87 tune. You should be fine with your mods on the 93 tune to get the most power of the three tunes. You can get your tune customized via the internet from a Chipmaster revolution tuner. You will need to datalog in your predator and then sent it to them via e-mail. It is not free. The only freebies are the updates from the Diablosport.com website. Make certain that your Predator has the latest (r28) revision loaded into it. Go to the website for more info on the tunes and Cipmaster Revolution Tuners. I went to one for a dyno tune and it was worth every penny.

So I should be okay with the 93 tune loaded? That is what I am running now, but from what I have read I would get more ponies if someone built me a special tune, which would include the mods I allready have. I dont have the option of a dyno tune over here, so the tuner is all I have.

You are correct. They can customize a tune over the net. They will ask you to datalog certain parameters for review, e-mail them to them so they can see what your car is doing, and then customize the tune for you. It will get you more power, but not as much as a dyno tune. Go to their website and it is explained there. There is also a list of authorized tuners. You can e-mail them for tech support. they are pretty good about getting back to you. www.diablosport.com

Does that cost money or they do it for free, because I have allready purchased the tuner?

E-mail Brent@DTPRacing.com as he helped me with mine. He is good and I think he charged me $95 for 2 tunes if my memory serves me right. Give him a try, he had mine back in a few hours.
