No it wasn't a V6. I could tell by the sound and the 4 head lights. The extra detail was me being sarcastic. I love Chevy's and I like fords. I just finished paying my Vette off. I plan to tune it with a Magna flow exhaust, pro charger(inter cooled), and I might change the headers. In about six months from now I'm gonna go buy a C6 z06. I'll eventually supercharge that one too. With 505 naturally aspirated hp the z06 has deadly potential!

Gentlemen. The only true answer comes on the drag strip, road course, etc.. I have "Raced" numerous different cars on the street, through two gears, and then quit at a certain speed.....I have a hard time fixing tickets over a certain speed. And prearranged racing in my state will cost you your car if you are caught. So I "play" a little on the street, but "Test" and "Race" on the strip. Wonder if the GT you saw did the same? Even when I was stock, I beat several stock vettes on the quarter mile. I back off on the street. same here?

90% of vette guys give us no respect. I have a 06'saleen s/c with 4.10's as of now and everytime I pullup to a vette---they look over and laugh, no respect. Then as I pull on them they always look like there mother just died. Remember this vette, as long as some one has the money they can mod there car to beat yours.
By the way 2 car lengeths isnt a rape.

That doesn't prove anything either way.

Look in the 4.0 forum. There are several V-6 owners there that put GT foglights and after market dual exhaust on their cars, along with other mods.

If you beat him as bad as you say you did, either he missed a gear or he was driving a V-6.

You had me going there for a while. I was all about cutting you some slack till you threw in the Z06 in 6 months comment. Because with your money, I know you're hanging on to the other Vette too, especially since you just dumped another 8 grand into it right? Boy lol, whew! lol you had me going there for a minute! i dont think the 6 would hang with the vette by 2 car lengths up to 112 mph. lol if it did your vette is slow. and if that is the case then thereason he stopped going is he is limited to 112 LOL
