is tuning that hard?

RE: is tuning that hard?
Its not hard at all. Are there any custom tunes already on the tuner? Basically all you have to do is plug the OBDII cable into the port, which is located under the dash on the driver's side, and then walk through the menu options. I would however, recommend that you read the manual first, before attempting to tune the car so that you are well aware of some of the options you are going to come across when tuning. Good Luck...

RE: is tuning that hard?
Really tuning the car is very difficult. If you are talking about simply taking a Predator or SCT2 and downloading a tune into your car, that's easy or if you're talking about simply going in and setting which gears you have or changing the size of the tires, that's not tuning. Tuning is going in and adjusting the amount of time the PCM will open the injectors to control the amount of fuel based on many factors in separate tables like mass air flow, throttle position, temperature and others. That's just fuel, there are tables for timing too. If you have tto ask that question, don't mess with it or you could damage your engine. -Joe

It is rather better for you to learn how to tune your car. No that it is hard or anything but it takes time to know. Also if you are going to learn I prefer you to start learning from a good tuner and a n/a car. Once you go into blow cars where you have to set the map per psi that is a whole other ball park not to mention once fall key = kaboom.
