I used the Shaker set up from CDC and then blacked out the hood.... I love the look.... and yes, it is functional!!

hey 61unibody, that looks really good. When you say you blacked out the hood, what exactly do you mean? That looks like a matt black paint; really cool. About hoods, i think the 3d carbon boy racer(functional) good and shelby cs6(not functional) hoods look absolutely amazing. The saleen looks really good too.

Any of the stick on hood scoops can be made functional if you're willing to cut a hole in your hood.

Yes, the paint is the matt black like was on my 70 Boss.... I also did the rear. I do agree that all can be made functional if that is what you want. Me, I like the old look of the Shaker it just looks mean.... and the look from the drivers seat takes me back....
