No, the outer shell and tabs will be all GT so it will be a GT fit application. I don't want to fill in the lights so I'll fab in the V6 grill to the GT shell and then "fill in" the pony area with doner honeycomb. Missed 2 V6 grills on EBay; they go for $30. I'm hoping someone will offer me one and avoid EBay altogether.

So your going to cut out honeycomb from the v6 and use it to replace the honeycomb on the gt grill? Sounds like it'd work, as long as it comes out clean.

Until I get the both of them in front of me I don't know where I will do the cut; I need to experiment with bonding techniques/solutions as well. I don't want to have to paint it, I want it so that one cannot tell it's anything but an OE part. I've done a variety of custom fab solutions and this one may be very possible. Yes it must be perfect & clean or "it's not going to be" ...that's the way I am.
