Help w/ Brakes
I'm getting ready to pick up a set of the black Foose Nitrous 18x8.5 wheels and I was thinking of upgrading the brakes while I was at it. I have no idea what I am doing when it comes this stuff, so I am looking for some help here. I was thinking of picking up a set of Baer brake kits for the front and rear, but what style or size would I really need with these wheels? I like the idea of having a 13" or 14" rotors on the car because I think they would stand out with these wheels. I really want the drilled and cross slotted ones with a colored caliper. I noticed that Baer could powder coat them in almost any color you wanted, so I thought a yellow or blue one would look a little different then the red ones. I guess I just need some ideas or suggestions as to which way to go and how to get there. Any suggestions or help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Help w/ Brakes
If you want to take your car to the track or road race, keep only the rotors slotted. Don´t cross drill them. They loose eficiency.
Baer is a good kit for the money vs. performance, because stoptechs go almost twice the value but if you have $2.2K´s you´re not using, then go with stoptech... the best ones.

+1 on slotted vs drilled.
Go with the 14".
I have not used Baer and was actually looking at them for my upgrade, but after talking with a handful (about 6) performance specialists they all recommended Brembo or StopTech. More $ but apparently also more piece of mind. I am sure there are plenty of folks who have used Baer and can provide personal input....but untill I hear otherwise from seasoned pros I am planning to go with Brembo.
