less than redline

personally, i was right below redline and trapping 110

you will def be in 4th gear, and prime part of it too. if you mod your car at all, you won't be able to finish the 1/4 in 3rd anyway

Sleeper, is that with 4:10's? The reason I ask is you list 4:30's in your sig... I'm kicking around a gear swap and trying to figure out which gearset will have me just below redline going through the traps. Mods are long tubes, off road H, pulleys, CAI, and a tune. Running the stock 27" tall tires.

yes with 4.10s. i used to have them. i have not been to the track with the 4.30s.

for you (manual right?) 4.30s would be the optimal gear to get for racing. for a daily driven car, 4.10s would be the wiser compromise though. there is only a 5% difference between them anyway, and you can hardly feel it, tho there def is a difference.

I used to average 6400-6600 rpm in 4th @ 122-126 mph with 4.10's.
