Default Pypes Mini Cats with O/R H

For anyone who's got the Pypes O/R H from Brenspeed, are you having issues with trumpeting? Around 2500 RPM, I'm getting an intense exhaust note, and it's killing me. I was thinking about buying the Pypes Hi-Flow Mini-Cats in hopes of curing this trumpeting. I talked with Pypes and they said I could expect around only a 2HP loss. Has anyone done this?

I took off the Pypes o/r x-pipe and bought the slp catted x-pipes and it got rid of the trumpeting noise. I don't care about the 2hp loss as long as I got rid of the trumpets.

I'm getting some resonator's installed to hopefully 'fix' this problem, it should quiet the car a little and give it a more deeper tone... and get rid of that 'trumpeting' as you call it.

Cool...I'd be interested to see how you like them. I talked with Brent today and he said he hasn't had time to test the O/R H with the mini-cats from Pypes, but thought it might be a good idea. I think I may try it....I'll only be out $120 if I don't like it.
