Default CAI installed- Now what?

I have recently gotton my cold air intake and tune and gained a very noticable 30 hp bringing me up to 300. Im now looking into what other kind of mods i can do that will yield good hp for the money. Short of a turbo or supercharger, what can i do? Headers are one choice, but only give another 10-15 horse. What can I do to hit 350 horse? -Thanks

Steeda charge motion plates are good for about 20+ hp, ud pullies, electric water pump, another 10-12, good set of long tube headers and off-road x ,10-15. You'll be close with no worries about windows in the side of your block. There is no substitute for cubic dollars! LOL

It will be difficult to reach 350 to the wheels without some type of power adder. N02 will get you there pretty cheaply. LT's will help it breath, headwork and some forced induction would let the headers shine, but without it you will probably see minimal gains.

UDP's would be the first thing to look at. Around $200.00 for a set and some are seeing from 5 to 7rwhp gains. Some have even seen 10+.

Just a side note, Nitrous is not cheap. My kit is costing roughly about ~$1500 for the kit, install, and tune. I guess its cheap compared to a supercharger and turbos, but if you only want 350hp, there are cheaper ways.

Im looking for 350 horse power at the wheels, im currently at 300. Im looking to do that without forced induction or Nitros. I will do the UD pulleys and LT headers with exhaust work, what else can i do? My brother has a trans am and can get 400 hp at the wheels with just a cam, and has many more power adders avaliable. Howcome the mustang engine is so hard to get all motor power out of it?

If u where really wantin to put some more power to the ground and help build a very good platform for a future power adder look at Fox lake power products they have ported sets of ported 3 valve heads avaible rangin from $1450(+core) to $1050. They(5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords) just did a install of these heads on an 05 or 06 GT and they were good for 28whp, on that car alone. So helpfully this will help u out. After writing this i went to their site(fox lake http://www.foxlakeracing.com/index.p...0Motor%20Heads) I was unable to find any info on the heads. But u might want to give them a call if you are interested.
