Roush S/C Dyno Result
I finally had Lucy on a Dynojet! with only 4 pounds of Boost, im putting down 378 RWHP. And I still have my warranty, and I can still pulley down for much more boost if I want to give up the warranty. Im very pleased with the Roush Results. Kudos to Jack and the boys.

They just did a HP Dyno. There is finally a speed shop here in Asheville NC with a dynojet, and the owner isnt an A$$hole. They didnt check anything else, but made a good connection with the guys, and we may be able to find someone who will eventually be able to tune a Roush. I cant find anyone who has found a way to meet up a tuner with a Roush Computer. I dont understand it that well, but I think it has to do with the fact that Roush kind of changes the code that names the car as an 05 mustang, to a unique code specific for each car, so you would have to have a custom tuner to get into the computer. Bottom line, the Roush tune is very conservative.
I took it to Bristol, TN, and as part of a previous thread, and after talking to a few other people who have ran at Bristol, the times are going to be Horrible in bristol. Combination of elevation, atmospheric conditions, slight grade. Now that the disclaimer has been made, the track times in the quarter are consistently low 13's, but at any sea level track I have it on very good authority that the times would be in the upper 12's.

Lucy2005, how are you able to maintain the warranty with the 4.10's? I called Roush last week to see if I could buy 3.73's from them, have the dealer do the install, and maintain the warranty on my s/c and they said no. Just curious.
If anybody has additional info on the Roush tune, speak up because I would like to get a more aggresive tune after the warranty period.
Thanks!

I was told by Roush I could install aftermarket gear but they would not warranty the gears. Roush said I would still have the warranty on the engine and tranny. You may want to ask them again about the warranty on the trans and engine. I wonder if it makes a difference since you have an automatic?
