Got Eibach sportline coils, please help with tires!!
i'm about to install the Sportline coils from Eibach on my 2006 GT, the stock tires have on are 235/55/18. i want to have 285 rear and 255 front. would they go on my stock 18" rims?? basically i do need to have wider tires cuz i find the stock very thin!! plz reply to me if you have the time...

Well i would ditch the heavy stock wheels and get yourself some light aftermarket wheels. Tire weight is one thing you can not fight or win, but you can with wheels and it will allow more variables with tires. Just know that if your tires are to big in the fron your pony will track all sketchy.
Personally i run 275 40 ZR18's rear and 245 40 ZR18 fronts on Saleen replica wheels. The wheels (18 x 10.5 R 18 x 9 F) are larger then my stock but also about 10lbs lighter then the stock.
Depending on the drop and your 2" isn't to much, you will have to worry about wheel bump in the wheel wells. You have to make sure you have CC plates and bumpstops if you are using really wide tires.
