Default OEM Rims - Chrome Plating

I'm looking at upragding to 18' foose nitrous for my GT but before doing so i had a couple questions for everyone. I like the style of both rims on the cars, the 05 GT has the 17' Bright machine cast aluminum and the 06 has the 17' Bullits... but really don't like the finish. I'm a chorme guy when it comes to rims and was wondering if it is possible to "simply" chrome plate the rims for a nicer finish instead of aluminum alloy look?!?! If anyone has any info on this, if it is possible, who might do it... i would really appreciate some help. Also what do you guys think of this idea if possible?? Good or bad?? opinions welcome.
