so they say you dont need a tuner to get the extra hp and torque; anyone know first hand if it would work on an 06 GT without a tuner?

I had one on my 06 vert for about 6 weeks,the only differ.I could tell was the intake sound.I didn't feel any performance gain at all.Got rid of it and got a CandL with tune from BRENSPEED love it.Airaid claims 17 hp without tune,with the venturi tube in,which makes it stock configuration.I was very unhappy with the one I put on my car.JUST MY THOUGHTS.Hope it helps.
