Why would Ford care about what Subaru is doing???
FYI, a CAI is not a good first, (second, third, etc) mod for a WRX as it causes the car to run too lean and you lose HP and TQ. Better to replace the DP and UP, (if it isn't an 06 or STi) and add some EM...

Just a bit of info i found out today. I spoke with someone at Ford and the Dealerships have been instructed to start voiding warranties for people running CAI and Chips anytime they discover them and/or find engine troubles. I guess something happend with the Subaru WRX and that started the whole snowball effect.

Fuji Heavy Industries owns Subaru. Ford owns 33% of Mazda.

Very interesting. Thanks for enlightening me. My ford dealership sells and services Subaru's and they told me Ford owned Subaru. Interesting to see that freakin GM owns a share.

I had the same problem in my WRX that was not tuned correctly for Cali gas. The A/F ratio was lean and caused a valve to blow. I seriously would not trust and off the shelf engine managment system.
