Nice pics.

What happens when the speed limiter is hit? Does it keep going at a steady speed or slow down?

On a old Ford truck I used to have, when the limiter was hit, it would slow up all of a sudden as though the engine was momentarily stalled. That wasn't a good thing if you weren't expecting it.

Pretty sure with his tune the limiter is turned off.

Anyone running with the limiter not turned off and hit it?

I hit the limiter before i did my tune. Was racing someone when it happend. I only had the car for about a week. The adrenaline was flowin' and i wasn't paying attention. Not to mention i really hate that Ford put the tach on the left side on the new stangs. My arm is in the way so i can't see it. Dumb idea on fords part!

Anyway, nice car and love the red seats! Post pics when you get some wheels on it.

hey guys gone for the weekend. umm... yah, open road, no traffic, i parked and took pics for a couple of minutes and still no traffic. secondary highway in northern alberta... a! the road also eventually turns into gravel and a dead end so you can almost bet your life you'd never see a cop. anyway i'd never run that speed when there's other traffic around or a chance at cops taking my licence. oh and yes i took the picture, i don't recommend it... and i'll likely never do it again that is for certain. don't really notice the speed limiter, once your up there over 125 mph it gets a little hairy and doesn't seem to climb overly fast. in my 04 truck (diesel) i really notice when the limiter hits (save as the 06 v6)... not so with the gt, almost seems drag limited, sure didn't notice it but it never slowed down.

rebelyell06... in know the dust under the hood was terrible... noticed that after but too late.

thanks for the comments guys...
