i just bought a silver 05 gt and i have a quetsion about the sct 2. me and two other friends wanna buy the jlt intake and split the purchase of an sct2. now can we all use one or do we have to buy individual sct2. i hope we can use one its alot cheaper that way. thank you

sorry, your all going to have to buy an sct ex.II Once the computer is re-flashed the unit is VIN locked and cannot be used on any other vehicle unless you restore the stock program back to the car that was flashed.

Why? So people don't buy just one and then relfash all thier friends cars. It's called a business and people are in it to make money, (profit is NOT a dirty word folks).

Now, you *could* buy just one and then flash whoever's car you plan on driving, then return it to stock before you drive the next one, but that would be... dumb.

it'd be less dumb to do, but it'd be a greater hassle. imagine driving and hitting limp mode for no reason, the tunes in your car, but the TUNER is in your buddies. boo hiss to be stranded on the road.
