Any Stalls?

RE: Any Stalls?
i've had my TCI in for about 6 months now and it is awesome. i had them make a custom stall for me so it's a little higher than what most people would probably like on the street. i can brake stall it to about 3800-4000rpm and it will flash in a 3rd gear idle roll to 3500-3800rpm. the standard street fighter is about 3000stall which is not much above stock so i didn't see the point in spending $600 for a converter that was just so/so. as far as dyno results converters are tricky on the dyno. my car only registers 281hp but we got 322ft.lb. of torque. with all the mods i have it should have been somewhere around 320-330hp maybe more if we used a dyno-jet instead of the mustang dyno. where it really counts is track times and seat of the pants driving. i can roast the tires from an idle dead stop through3rd usually into 4th gear. it's worth between 3-5 tenths 1/4 mile! i've had 60' times as low as 1.72 and always consistantly in the 1.70's. i usually run 12.60-12.80 at the track. don't expect the big mph that the stickshift guys have though. my best is 106.5 on a 12.62.
IMO it is the best mod you can buy for the money(if you have an auto of course).

Off topic for this post...Spyder, I had the brenspeed tune for the C&L and again when I installed the CMDP's. But I got a custom dynojet tune when I put the pullies on. He said it was pretty flat from 4800rpm on up. Anyhow all said and done I have the C&L intake, Steeda CMDP's, Steeda UDP's, and free flow exhaust and got 336hp/314 ftlbs T after the custom tune. Based on your torque numbers I would have to think you are there or better. I do know I now overpower the stock tires.
