Flashing the converter means that you simply nail it from an idle. Goes directly into lock-up. If you pre-load an auto the converter is slipping at launch and locks once the speed and rpm jive with each other.

Its just the tires. Get some sticky meat on there first before you worry about control arms. Also could be the weather. I was at englishtown today at a mopar show and given that it has rained all week, and it is the first day it is dry, it was a little slippery.

All season tires suck. Plain and simple. I have never seen one work well in the winter. And in the summer they are always a comprimise. Anyone that is into performance and doesent have a set of summer and a set of winter tires and wheels is shortchanging themselves.

Heck, if the lower arms are good enough for the GT500 (as I understand it they are the same), and that can plant itself well, thats not the entire problem.

The upper arm and both lower arms are different on the GT 500. May only be a different durometer on the bushings, I'm not sure, but I was curious myself and looked them up and they are different part numbers than the GT arms.
