Default Could I have messed up my engine/tranny?

I let my bud drive my 06 GT. He decided he wanted to pull a spin on it.
Its a manual. Well he got the RPMs up to about 3 i think.. Then he hit the brake instead of a clutch trying to do a spinout auto style.. the engine gurgled and the car died.
I dont hear or feel anything weird on my car but could he have damaged the engine or tranny?
Nothing is going on weird now but im still worried.
Thanks

It's fine. Don't let anyone drive your car who doesn't know how or will try something with yours that they never would do with their's.

I doubt anything is wrong. Let that be a lesson.

You got off lucky. Your friend can't drive. Your lucky he didn't put it in a ditch or worse. Work on that judgement a little.

i didn't see anything about TC, maybe the traction control was on? i found
that 3k rpm is a great place to dump the clutch and spin the tires quite
nicely.

The mustang is not a great car to teach someone to drive stick in. Tell him to learn on some little rice burner for a while then let him drive yours if you want.

BUT, I wouldent let him beat on the car like that unless you are a really carefree guy. When I drive someone elses car (which I usually never do as I dont let most people drive my car) I dont pound it like that. It is total disrespect. I will crank it up, throw a shift here or there. But not clutch and tire eating burnouts.

Yeah, he just stalled it when he hit the brake. I highly doubt any damage at all. If someone wants to get frisky, they should really be doing it in their own car.

Yeah I see your point. Only reason I let him is that ive known him for twenty years and we are literally like brothers. We have trusted each other with everything but i dint know he would do something as clumsy as that hehe. I do see your point!
