Pre mod RWHP dyno results ???

RE: Pre mod RWHP dyno results ???
Yours would be close to that on the exact same dyno. You're going to have a little more parasitic drag with an automatic than with a manual. Gas mileage is supposed to be 1 mpg better with a manual, so the rwhp ought to be fairly close.

Auto's will usually show a greater loss from the crank HP (Estimated at 300HP). Most manual GT's are seeing between 260 and 270RWHP as stated above while most Auto GT's are seeing a bit less than this number.

I've always been curious. Many above have mentioned many mods you can add to stock, driveshaft, headers, exhaust, under drive pulley, cold air kit, better flash tune, gear ratio change. The problem is no one can agree on how much the cumulative addition works. Obviously each of the things mentioned individually add varying amounts of HP, but what is unclear is how some poeople just add them all up in a continuous chain of added HP.
Some performance mods add a gaugable amount of HP on their own, but together the additional HP overlaps or is staggered by another mod. I would be curious to see the actual total of gained rwhp from adding all the above mentioned mods, not just adding up what each on its own adds by itself, and then adding them all up together to get a total. Mods don't work that way, some mods will add to your total gain, while others will be diverted by another and only add a fraction of their individual total.
After talking to endless amounts of Mutang shops, a boost of maybe 60 flywheel, maybe 50 rwhp is possible with the above alterations, while keeping the car stock otherwise. That did not seem to be enough to me for all that work. Where as a twin screw SC Saleen or Kenne Bell will even set conservativley will get you to 375 rear wheel, and that's without having to change out injectors, or air induction except for a K&N air filter.
Is it really cheaper to have to do all the other modifications to maybe reach 360 flywheel? Just curious, Erik
