Do these turbos run sequentially? Or do they run one for each bank? Because twin turbos are goign to be flowing more air at 5psi than one. Remember a lot of people get caught up in how much psi but a 60mm turbo vs a 70mm turbo at psi is going to make a large difference in CFM's.

On a given motor it doesn't matter how you get to Xpsi if everything in the motor stays the same. It doesn't matter if that 5, 10, 15 or even 20lbs of boost comes from a pair of 55mm turbos, a single 67mm or a single 101mm turbo then the airflow stays the same. Boost is only a measure of pressure in the motor caused by back pressure not a given airflow. The same manifold pressure no matter what type of forced induction produces it will produce the same airflow to that motor because it is the back pressure in the intake and exhaust that creates the manifold pressure readings and it takes a certain amount of air in the intake tract to get to each pressure level for a given motor.

So wait a 100mm turbo at 5psi is pushing the same amount of air as a 70mm turbo at 5psi? At least with Diesel trucks this isn't true.

Yes, so long as the rest of the motor and intake tract stays the same 5psi is the same amount of air no matter the size of the turbo.

not so worried about the power output but more so along the lines of how much the engine can take without being significantly modded..

Theo nly turbo kit I have seen /heard and ridden is is the STS. It does spool rather fast and has the potential to make really big power. They offer upgrades for bigger turbos or ball bearing turbos.

When I build my motor I will be adding a second turbo but for now, one is more than I can handle.
