Default Question about 06 New Mustang I am buying.

Black/Black leather... loaded 5 speed manual, int upgrade, shaaker 500, etc.... They are offering me it at exact MSRP which is 28370.. Does this sound like a good deal?

My only concern is on the window sticker, it sais Cali Emissions...

The identical one next do it did not.

Does this hinder any performance or make harder to do any kinda mods? What exactly is it?

Thanks.. Let me know! I can't wait to pick it up!

You should be able to talk them down some.

I got mine for a little under invoice, with the X-Plan.

IMO..a BIG NO .. you should get it cheaper.. the 07 models are coming out soon.. shop around before you spend your money .. I did.. I put 3 dealership's up against each other..

If I was you.. I would get a 07 .. but that is just me.. if you get a 06 now.. you are getting a 1 year old car already.. taking your time should save you money.. it did me.. I have the same car almost .. and paid much less than that..

hear was my logic.. I have lived without it for X number of years .. what is a few more weeks and or months...???

best of luck

Ask to see the dealer invoice and offer 2% over which should be $500 - $600. If you can get under dealer invoice, I think you did great. Just over dealer invoice as I stated, good. MSRP, not so good.

I'm guessing demand is different from state to state. I'm in Colorado and paid 2% over the dealer invoice two weeks ago on my 2006 GT convertible.

Good luck!

Are the prices out for the '07?

One more thing to consider is if they increase, he may end up paying more by ordering an '07 than if he just talked them down (or another dealer) on the price for the '06.

Default RE: Question about 06 New Mustang I am buying.

Demand is SKY HIGH here in the Philly area... Not 3 months ago, they were asking 3500 over MSRP... I will try a last minute haggle with them when I go in... I have a deposit down on the car.

Now what about my question about the Cali Emissions? Some have it, some don't... Is there a disadvantage? And what does it have that the non cali car doesn't?

Thanks

Default RE: Question about 06 New Mustang I am buying.

I seen that Sirius will be an option on the 2007 models! I really didn't want to hack up my interior by installing my existing Sirius... Heated seats are an option as well.. Here is my question. When do the 2007's come out, and will the prices be really high when they first come out?

Thanks...

And I still want to know what the difference is between the Cali emission / non cali cars is! Thanks
