Default RE: what can i expect from these mods?

it says...

time
0-60 4.84
60 ft 2.41
1/8 8.52
1/4 13.15

traction issues is why it's higher for 1/4 mile, model says you are spinning wheels . 60 ft time is higer becaue with the gears the model shifts from first to second before you get to 60 ft (actually an error in the model which I will be correcting)

time
0-60 4.84
60 ft 2.41
1/8 8.52
1/4 13.15

if you add DR so you can get traction, the results look like this...

0-60 4.16
60 ft 1.73
1/8 7.99
1/4 12.59

well into the 12's!!

basically traction.

with the mod's (especially with gears) you are putting a lot more force to the tire. if you put too much force though, you overcome the grip coefficient of the stock pirelli's. you become acceleration limited by the tire instead of the engine.

but if you get some sticky DR's, your 0-60, 60ft, and 1/4 mile go way, way down.

thanks alot paco, i had never thought of that.

what do you think i would get with 3.73's ?

also, i live in new orleans la and its damn humid and hot(not to mention under sea level). we all know how that effects the performance of your car negativly. is there anything i can do?...besides move?

not sure what you can do about the heat and humidity. keep in mind that every body else beside you at the strip (or the stop light) is faced with the same conditions.

with the 3.73's you'll put a little less force to the tire, but traction issues won't be as great. still a good combo.
