Engine noise question

I didn't notice this when I picked up my 06 GT was to excited in getting it I guess. But I notice that the engine is not as quite as I thought it would be now this may be normal and it may just be me but would like to hear from other 06 GT owners on this.

my 05 gt makes engine noise, specially valve train noise. Pretty sure its fine, well at least I hope it is.

Well isnt that the best part. It purrs when idling and roars when you step on it. Its a race horse, it supposed to breath and sound like one. Dont worry about it unless you hear some sort of unusual pattern of noise that doesnt seem right.

Ok thanks yes it's sounds like valve noise, and yes again it does purrrrrr now that you mentioned it Fastshadow. Thanks for the feedback I can relax now...

Have same valve train noise on my 06 and the rear end noise also. My sister inlaws 05 doesn't make either noise. I have printed out bulletin sheet for the rearend noise but couldn't find one for the valve train knock. Any one have a handy pdf to post ? I'm taking the car in on saturday and would like to have all the info I can.
