I thought abuot that too, but decided that if I had only one hole cutout in the grille it would look funny, so I said to hell with it and went for the gusto! There is also a lot of obstruction under the FIPK, so I guess the more air the better!
Thx,
Mike

good ghetto work there...hey, we do what we have to right?
I actually did the same thing but for the "bottom intake" portion that is attached to the grill used a black plastic "downspout" connection from Home Depot, it's in the PVC pipe/plastic flex hose/drain and gutter section of the store (hopefully that makes sense...it's very late)[&:]
It fits PERFECTLY in the bottom of the Stangs bumber, right where you connected yours but I swear it was like it was MADE to do exactly that on our cars. It's a rectangular opening (part that fits right into our bumper) that converts into a round 3-4? inch coupling onto which you attach the hose.
Anyway, nice work...I think I was able to beat that Z06 the other day cuz of MY Cold Air Duct, good luck with yours

That's the closest I could find on Home Depots site....the end piece on both ends of the flex tube is sold seperately and is what I used...it wasn't a planned mod, I was at Home Depot and saw the box of couplings and it hit me "I shall go home and construct a home made doo-hicky to deliver fresh air to my CAI!!!!", that's how it happened...didn't really put much thought into it.
As far as pics go......man, I'm just too lazy to do that!! [8D] really though, if I can get around to it, I'll put some on here...everything is identical to MikeVista's except his looks more "professional" as my coupling is just mounted in the opening directly behind the license plate, as far over as the plastic divider will allow. (look at MikeVista's new pics of the front of the car...check out the two rectangular openings on either side of his license plate...the downspout coupling is mounted on the right side opening, except on my car...I'm sure MikeVista wouldnt've let me put it on HIS car) Even thought the coupling fit exactly into the opening, was even a little snug, I put a very small screw into the bottom of the coupling to keep it from falling out.
Anyway...wow...the time it took me to right this, I could've PAINTED a pic of my install...oh well hope this helps.
