I've decided to have a muffler shop make my own straight pipes, but I have to find a pair of stainless tips to put on them. Anybody know of a website that sells good tips for less than normal? I've checked SLP and Magna, but was hoping to find something a littler cheaper.

I have done this. I used Magnaflow 45degree stainless slash cut tips. 3.5" x 12" I originally had the 16" tips and the bends were to sharp. If intrested I will be happy to post pics of the finished job. My TOTAL cost was $75 and I have had a tremendous response from the sound. The car lopes at idle and just off idle like it has an aggressive cam. Absolutley awesome sound when running the strip, I had my friend drive the car so I could listen to it and take some pictures.

Fords accessory tips are very nice and well made.

I just installed mine 10 mins ago, they look good, are well built, and EZ install. I pulled mine out about 1/2" further than the directions, but, that's what I wanted, and found a "little" more rumble. There is still plenty of ID to grab the OD of the factory pipe, without compromising rigidity.
BUY, the FORD tips, and keep 'er original. $119.95 w/tax from my dealer, others are less, but charge shipping. My dealer gave me 5% off list.
