Only con (or pro) is to run this exhaust you will need to invest in a full rear end body kit, which pretty much means entire car body kit.

If you get an '05 Saleen exhaust, the valves in the variable exhaust will start to rattle after 500 miles or so. They fixed the problem in '06. Anyone with a real '05 Saleen mustang has been able to replace their exhaust with an '06 exhaust free of charge from Saleen. The new Saleen exhaust, '06 and newer, are made by Magnaflow and sound almost identical to standard Magnaflows. If you are going to buy the Saleen exhaust, make sure it is an '06 version.

I think the 06 and 05 saleen exhaust is made by the same company. On the 06 they just did away with the secondary pressure opening of the turn down valves, and it is open all the time instead.

They may have been made by Magnaflow the whole time. The only thing I know is that my original mufflers where smaller with a dull finish. Now the new ones I have are a little bigger and have an almost mirror finish and say "MAGNAFLOW" on the bottom of them.

They are only shipping 06 systems. the only way you would end up with an 05 is if you bought one off of ebay from someone, or if you got old stock from a reseller. Try Haney Motorsports. They are a sponsor and carry Saleen parts.
