Default wheels question

A friend is giving me (for free) his cobra wheels... (look picture).
I have a white 2005 GT. Will these rims fit? spacers needed?
Thanks!
JML

They will fit and you won't need spacers. But, they may stick out because 94-04 Stangs used less offset than the S197's.

18", I believe 8.5 front and 10 back... I love those wheels... (I was first in list to buy his car but was flooded in a rally last year...) so he hasn´t brought back his replacement...
I don´t mind the wheels sticking a little bit out... I may get a little more distance between wheels and it may help suspension... (more stress but more stability...)

Thanks for the replies!!!
Muchas gracias,
JML

JMO, but having 8.5 in front and 10 R, isn't the best set up for regular street driving. Especially on a winding road.
Ya really want that extra 1.5" when turning.

mhhh... good point!!
I may have to accept the wheels... test them, take the car to the track and compare lap times and G´s with current set up (stock)... that may get rid of the guess work... Thanks LEJAY!

Staggered wheels are very common and almost all high performance vehicles have staggered wheels from the factory. It allows for the widest tire on the front and back without making the front look ridiculous with ultra wide wheels.

WTF!!!!!! Have you ever looked at the difference between the front wheels and the back wheels on an F1 car?????? The difference is HUGE. You actually have MORE stability with the different tire sizes, in the event of a spin out its a lot EASIER to regain control as well.
