RE: What is the best CAI/Tuner for an automatic GT?
I think it's me he's talking about. I have both tunes and have switched them back and forth more times than I can count. I agree the Brenspeed definitele feels better. The car runs smoother, the throttle response is better and feels more responsive. The shifts are better at WOT, but also the shifts during normal driving is WAY better. I've found that my Brenspeed tune shift about 6100 rpm and the Evo at about 5800 rpm. The only wat I can get the Evo tune to shift close to the Brenspeed is to increase the the shift point by about 3-4mph and 5-10% firmness. I have NOT scratched 3rd with the Evo tune but I do with the Brenspeed tune.
Peak HP figures are about the same when tested less than 2 wks ago Evo=290rwhp, Brenspeed =293rwhp. Dkano was also there and he should remember his rwhp figures too, but I believe he pulled a little more with the Brenspeed too.
Hope this helps.
