The engine is internally balanced, besides all the weight is on the dampner is just like a weight on a wheel it balances the crank by putting more weight at one point of the outside circumfrence. It's not a balance from end to end through the block.

The pulleys seem to have alot of potential issues. The new Roush pullies look awesome. The safest bet with engine temp etc. seems to be to do pullies and the water pump. That way the water pump will be compromised with the pulley changing its speed.

I dont mean issues as in problems. I mean issues as in the pullies dont add hp but free it up by robbing other parts of max performance, such as the water pump. So the best option seems to be to do the pullies along with the water pump.

I think 5-8 added HP has been the average outcome.
