More than likely your clutch packs in the t-lok. [:@]

Been a lot of posts on that problem.

This apparently was mistaken for a power steering problem also. I've got it.

Is it just noise, or is damage done/being done? Something that goes away after break-in? I think I can live with it as long as there is nothing actually wrong with the car other than the noise.

If your rear differential is making noise on turns then there is a problem that needs to be addressed under warranty. They will have to replace the clutch packs, or change the center chunk in its entirety.

I'd suck out the gear oil and replace it with a good 80W140 synthetic with some trac-loc additive. This probably will solve the problem. You should change the gear oil the first 5K miles anyway as alot of wear metals are there in the oil after break in, and you really want to get that stuff out.

Ok so I took it into Ford, after removing the CAI and reflashing back to stock. Took the tech for a drive and instantly he said it was my clutch packs. He told me to leave it with him for the day. At 2 it was done, he replaced whatever part was busted, and added additives that were lacking from the factory, which is apparently the reason for this problem. So for all you new buyers, get this additive to avoid this problem. Just ask your tech shop. I was surprised to find out that he had no problem with the lowering springs, LCA's nor the UD pulleys. Again that may have been different had I gone in for engine problems. But yeah. problem solved. easy.
