TCS question

I'd like to know when racing from a stop not a roll is it better to have the traction control on or off? I keep reading that you want the best traction out of the hole.

RE: TCS question

If you have no way of controlling your feet, the TCS is better left on.

When datalogging some 0-60s, I chopped a half second off my time when going from TCS launch to no TCS. Both times I let the clutch out at about 2200ish but I had much less spin the second time with TCS off.

So I would turn the TCS off everytime, if for no other reason than to teach your legs how to do it right.

RE: TCS question

Defently off, TCS can rob power to the wheels.

RE: TCS question

Thanks my concern was gaining time or loosing time, I haven't raced in a looooong time. I'll have to get a feel for it again with the TCS mode on off. Thanks for the information
