Just my opinion, but if you're planning on removing it for the strip I'd recommend putting it back on when you're done. The car's suspension was designed with the bar for a reason. I would expect the lack of a bar to have a noticeable and negative impact on handling.

I took mine off... BUT, im ever mindful of it and dont race around curves etc... dont wanna sound like a hypocrite, but i would leave it on... especially on cars driven by youngens..... take it off at the drag strip an knock a few pounds off the car, but put it back on again afterwards...

By all means it's strip only! It helps with weight transfer at the strip, but the car can get dangerously squirrely without it unless you're only going in a straight line. You can also just disconnect the end links at the strip without actually removing the whole bar, and just reconnect it before you go home. Trust me, you don't want to get in traffic at speed changing lanes etc. with it removed.
