No.. Saleen doesn't want anything to do with this car...... they don't view drag racing as their niche i guess. I think a lot of people think we are stupid for taking a $60000 car (especially a low serial number) and hacking it up. It does have a very high cool factor, not many people have the nerve to cut up a brand new car. Heck a lot of people think I am nuts for cutting up my brand new mirrors and drilling holes in my doors to put '67 Mustang mirrors on my car.

Hey Kev. You should put 67 fastback louvers in that thing, I saw one last week and it looked really trick.

WOW, I'm surprised you did all that with a new car and emphasized the SALEEN on the front and back with them not sponsoring the car. BUT that is the nicest 05+ drag Mustang car I have ever seen (I am a little biased myself).

Thanks, Hopefully we will be able to put on a show for you guys at the track. I thought about not having the Saleen logos on the car, But then what was the point in buying the car for 60,000 in the first place. If I am not mistaken our Saleen was the first one sold to the public in 2005. It is serial #016. I have never done any research myself personally on this it is only what I have been told. Apparently the first fifteen went to higher ups in Saleen and FoMoco
