Default What are u gettin with....



What are guys putting to the rear wheels with Tuner(preferably Xcal 2) and CAI(preferably JLT 2)

Also where did you get your tune...Brenspeed,Evo,Bamma Chips or custom dyno tune

Oh and by the way i am just lookin for numbers with tuner and CAI. Thanks again.

In my auto:

Steeda CAI w/Steeda Diablo tune= 270 rwhp
C&L CAI w/sct2 tune by Evo and Steeda UDPs= 290 rwhp
C&L CAI w/sct2 tune by Brenspeed and Steeda UDPs= 293 rwhp

I put 280rwhp with JLT 2 and Xcal2 tuned by a local dealer, just seeing if that was a good number?

I think most people are getting right around 285-290 RWHP. You are not far off there. But probably could do a tad better with one of the tuner shop tunes out there.

I just installed a JLT 2 and a SCT tuner with the 93 octane Evo tune. I'll putting right at 290 to the wheels. I've heard the lesser octane tunes put out less HP, but I haven't dynoed my car to see how much less.

Well i got 4.10s too, so am not sure how much that is affecting the dyno numbers. I'll probably buy a different set of tunes from brenspeed later. Currently i dont have any money to do so and i am lookin at gettin SLP Loudmouth and Pypes catless H-pipe before that anyways.

hey sweet did he dyno tune it or just put it on the dyno to see what you were putting out?? and every dyno ive seen after gears went down a few hp, 2-3!

Really, I was just basin that mainly on an article that i read in MM&FF where they installed that drag pak from FRPP and the 4.10s actually showed up as a loss of 3rwhp on the dyno. Thats all

Yeah he ran it 2 times for a base then put the CAI and ran it slowly to check the AFR then took all the way out to redline and then did some tuning and ran it again and he was pretty happy with the results. I didnt know what to expect but was happy for what he got. I think it was gettin pretty late for him so i think he made some pretty quick adjustments to the tune i think he had saved from a previous car, tweaked it to get a good afr. I might go back later to try to get a more aggressive tune...just seems now from reading alot of posts that there might be more on the table with a more Agg. tune

+1. somehow it affects the calibration of the dyno, or something, but effectively looses 3-5 measured HP to the wheels.
