Default Pypes O/R H Pipe & Stock Mufflers

Took my loud mouths off this morning and put the stock mufflers on. Sounds a little louder than stock, but much better than the Nascar sound IMO. Butt dyno tells me it pulls a bit hard and power shifts don't make the engine hesitate. Adding UDP's and then a custom dyno tune by Doug @ BamaChips on Jul 8th... Shooting for 300+ at the wheels!

If anyone is interested in my Loud Mouths shoot me a PM. I'm thinking half price which would be ~150.

Yes, the combination of Loudmouths & O/R H-pipe = Loud. Though it is loud, it isn't clean. At idle it sounds great, at WOT it sounds ok, at cruising speeds of 65 mph it makes you cream your pants... Though regular acceleration and so on it sounds rather crappy as the tones break up. Oh, and starting your car when it hasn't been running for hours... Yeah, prepare to set off car alarms in the next time, blow out windows, etc. Well, that might be a little too much, but it is just loud. I had some Magnaflow Resonator's installed and it's fixed the problem for the most part. Sounds a lot deeper, cleaner, smoother. Still some minor issues, but overall satisfied.

Yeah the tones are all over the place when cruising. THere is a horrible resonnance at 2k rpms in every gear with the O/R H pipe and Loud Mouths. When you're getting on it they sound great, when you start it up they sound great, but cruising uphill on the interstate the resonance changes and it feels like your ear drums are going to burst. Don't even get me started on going under an overpass... I can see the H pipe sounding great with some High flow mufflers... something to take the edge off of it.

PM returned.

Well I have no tolerance for weak sounding exhaust so the Loudmouth is coming for me. My 95 Z28(well not entirely mine now, Dads ride sold it to him) has Pacesetters LTs catless Y-pipe SLP Loudmouth on it, never had a problem with the sound on it, and it is the loudest car around from what i have been told. I dont imagine the 281 is even goin to come close to how loud that is(LT1 350CI). I wish I had Cable or DSL internet so i can host of a video of what it sounds like(Z28), one word SICK!

But anyways i cant wait to buy the LM it is goin to be sweet Got to start saving some $

So would the Pipes catless H-pipe sound good with Borlas? I'm thinking about going that route, but havn't heard any clips of it.
