Default Torque Converter Slipping?

Okay, so, here's my situation.

My car throws "Idle too low" codes. It sometimes shuts down.

Below 1200RPM I get -0- acceleration. It's extremely difficult to idle through a parking lot because it lags, hits 1200, and then rockets forward.

On any kind of incline I do not move forward, rather the car will remain stationary. When stock it would easily roll up hills at idle.

I'm worried my stock TQ is on the fritz.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the TC is goin out. You should replce it with a 2800-3500 stall convertor.

Yeah. It's a good excuse for it, assuming it really is the problem.

It could be the tq, but just for grins, you could pur the tune back up stock and see if it does it then. The tune could have bad settings for the tranie.

Just an educated guess from an uneducated person
