Stripes baby!

RE: Stripes baby!
The stripe on the rocker panel came out a little wavy j/k. I have white vinyl stripes on my vert as well but they're only temporary until I get painted ones done. Nice thing is when the time comes I can just peel them off and the paint underneath has been protected. Imagine if someone decided to be a jerk and peeled them off and wrapped them around your car in a bow? Could happen but can't do that with painted stripes. Right now I feel like a poser with white saran wrap stuck on my car.

LOL, u guys are funny. I guess someone really could rip off them vinyl stripes and tie 'em in a bow. You just gotta really hope people have a little more respect for the car than to do something like that. But I guess ya never know...(Sorry bout the wrong forum posting ShortBus)
As for Ben Wallace, ya gotta love the Vista Blue!
For dreem363, I don't know of any difference if they are still vinyl stripes being sold for around $300. Vinyl is vinyl pretty much, easier to do than painted ones, and not nearly as permenant. Although at this point, I like the stripes so much, I might get painted ones down the road sometime too. And yes, there was plenty of material to cover even ground kits. I messed up the trunk section on my car actually (got some small tears, and was angled as f*ck), and I had enough extra material to redo the whole trunk. This was my first time installing stripes on any car, as well as my buddies first time. So I think rookies can definitely achieve professional results using the wet method of installation. This gives you a little freedom to slide the stripe around a bit. Here's the link I used for a guide...

Okay, someone had to ask about what a certain color combo looked like so here's a great tool. Play with this all you want.
