Hi. I was looking for the best mods that I woulc do under $1,000 for an 05 Mustang GT. I have added a flowmaster exhaust and a K&N filter box filter (not cold air) so far. Looking for the most bang for my buck. Thanks!

I would go with long tube headers. it's ~25+ rwhp and provides a great foundation for future mods.

or you could go with taller gears (4.30) matched with drag radials for traction.

both options will have similar improvements in 1/4 mile over stock. (13.2's vs 13.5 stock). depends on your driving habits and what future mod's you plan to do .

Absoutely positvely a tuner should be your first mod. With your budget - tuner & gears would be your best starting point. Put the rest in the cookie jar for l/t's and exhaust down the road.

Yup,
a CAI and tuner would be a great start. Maybe add aluminum driveshaft to get more HP to the rear wheel

for 1k, get an intake and tuner, as well as gears. it will bump you 30hp over stock, and combine for about a .75second redux at the track. it will wake the hell up out of the car without getting overboard. however, once you do that, you will not be able to stop modding...trust me
